This policy describes copyright ownership, limited use of Patriot Raw content, and the process for reporting alleged infringement. It does not claim that Patriot Raw has registered a designated DMCA agent.
Copyright Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, original Patriot Raw articles, headlines, graphics, logos, page designs, and compilations are protected by applicable copyright law and belong to Patriot Raw or the party that licensed them. Third-party photographs, documents, quotations, video, trademarks, and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Linking, Quotation, and Republication
Visitors may link to Patriot Raw articles and may quote limited portions when permitted by law, with clear attribution and a link to the original page. Republishing a full article, systematic copying, commercial syndication, removing attribution, or presenting Patriot Raw material as another publisher’s work requires written permission unless a legal exception applies.
Fair Use
Patriot Raw may use limited third-party material for news reporting, criticism, commentary, teaching, scholarship, or other purposes believed to be permitted by law. A fair-use determination depends on the circumstances. Inclusion of material does not waive the rights of its owner.
Images, Video, and Attribution
Media should be credited when the source is known and used under permission, license, public-domain status, or an applicable legal exception. A credit does not by itself establish permission. Rights holders may report a mistaken credit or unauthorized use through the process below.
Submitting a Copyright or DMCA Notice
A copyright owner or authorized agent who believes material on Patriot Raw infringes a protected work may send a written notice containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list for multiple works.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, including the exact Patriot Raw URL.
- The complaining party’s name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, the owner’s agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act for the owner.
Designated recipient: Use the Contact Us page to request the correct delivery instructions for a formal copyright notice.
Patriot Raw does not currently claim that this recipient has been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as a formal DMCA agent. Registration status must be verified before making that statement.
Review and Removal
A complete notice will be reviewed in good faith. Patriot Raw may remove or restrict material, seek additional information, notify the contributor, preserve relevant records, or decline a request that is incomplete or not legally sufficient. Knowingly false claims may create liability.
Counter-Notification
A contributor who believes material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may submit a counter-notification containing:
- The contributor’s physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and its former location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the contributor has a good-faith belief the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- The contributor’s name, address, and telephone number.
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States federal district court and acceptance of service from the original complaining party or that party’s agent, as applicable.
Patriot Raw may restore material when permitted by law unless the complaining party provides notice of a filed court action within the applicable period.
Repeat Infringers
Patriot Raw may restrict or terminate repeat infringers when appropriate and may consider the number, credibility, and outcome of prior notices. The policy will be applied reasonably and in light of available evidence.
