This policy describes how Patriot Raw will separate commercial relationships from editorial decisions. No active advertising network was identified during the August 21, 2026 configuration review.
Editorial Independence
Advertisers, sponsors, donors, vendors, and commercial partners do not purchase favorable reporting, suppress criticism, select editorial conclusions, or receive advance approval of independent coverage. Editorial decisions should be based on public interest, evidence, relevance, and reader value.
Clear Labels
Paid material must be labeled with plain terms such as “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” “Paid Content,” or another label a reasonable reader can understand. Labels should appear before or near the material and remain visible on mobile devices and social previews where practical.
Separation From Reporting
Sponsored content must be visually distinguishable from news reporting. A sponsor may provide factual product or campaign information, but the sponsor may not present paid claims as Patriot Raw’s independent reporting. Editorial staff should disclose material conflicts of interest.
Political Advertising
Political advertising must comply with applicable federal, state, local, platform, recordkeeping, disclaimer, and targeting requirements. Patriot Raw may request sponsor identity, payment source, authorization, targeting, or disclaimer information before acceptance.
Standards for Acceptance
Patriot Raw may reject, remove, or require changes to advertising that is unlawful, materially misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, privacy-invasive, malicious, impersonating, obscene, or inconsistent with site safety and reader trust.
Sensitive Categories
Claims involving elections, health, finance, legal services, public safety, weapons, gambling, age-restricted products, or political fundraising may receive additional review. Acceptance of an advertisement is not an endorsement.
Tracking and Privacy
No advertising pixel or advertising network was identified as active. Before covered advertising technology is enabled, Patriot Raw must update the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, configure consent and opt-out controls, and identify relevant providers.
Sponsored Links and Affiliate Relationships
Compensation, affiliate relationships, free products, travel, event access, or other material consideration connected to content must be disclosed clearly. Affiliate links, if introduced, will also be governed by the Affiliate Disclosure.
