Patriot Raw welcomes vigorous political disagreement. These rules are intended to protect lawful debate, reader safety, and useful discussion—not to require agreement with the publication.
Participate in Good Faith
Address the issue, evidence, and argument. Strong criticism of politicians, institutions, policies, writers, and Patriot Raw is allowed. Disagreement, unpopular viewpoints, and civil partisan advocacy are not by themselves grounds for removal.

Evidence and Corrections
When making a contested factual claim, commenters are encouraged to link to reliable evidence and distinguish fact from inference or opinion. Honest mistakes may be corrected. Coordinated deception, fabricated quotations, forged records, or repeated falsehoods may be restricted.
Moderation Actions
Depending on severity and history, Patriot Raw may hold a comment for review, edit only for limited formatting or privacy reasons, remove it, close a thread, restrict links, place an account under moderation, suspend participation, or ban repeat abusers. Serious threats or unlawful material may be preserved and reported to appropriate authorities.
Transparency and Consistency
Moderation is a judgment process and cannot be perfectly uniform. Decisions should consider context, severity, public interest, newsworthiness, satire, quotation, and whether less restrictive action would address the problem.
Appeals
A commenter may submit one concise appeal identifying the comment, the moderation action, and why the decision may conflict with these guidelines. Appeals that repeat abuse or omit sufficient information may not receive a response.
Moderation appeal contact: Use the Contact Us page, include “Moderation Appeal” in the subject, and provide the relevant page URL.
Privacy
Comments are public. Do not post information you are not prepared to make public. Comment processing and retention are described in the Privacy Policy. A request to remove a comment will be evaluated but cannot always be granted.
Changes and Enforcement
These guidelines may be updated as the community and legal requirements change. Continued participation after an update is subject to the current version.
